Vtg Antique Painted Custard Bristol Glass Basket Sweetmeat Covered Biscuit Jar

This small covered jar measures about 4 3/8" in diameter at the base and is only about 2 1/2" tall not included the handle. The piece is found in fair preowned condition showing some scratches and wear. The silverplate part shows tarnishing and plate loss as well. There is one little spot that may be a repaired fleck chip near the silverplate top, it's hard to tell. The exact age, maker, and glass type is unknown. The exact jar type is unknown, possibly a sweetmeat due to the size. I'm not 100% sure that the lid is original to the piece. It seems to fit, but has a little play or gap around the rim.
