*Up for sale here is a very scarce southern acl soda pop bottle from West Columbia, South Carolina. Bottle looks to date into the 1940's era. It is in the 7 ounce size, and bottle is near mint. The bright green and white acl label being excellent, with a picture of a nice cotton boll. There is the tiniest of a surface scratch on the cotton boll, but this may polish off. Have not tried. This is very hard to spot, and is non detracting. The thin side seam runs through the center of the label, but this is non detracting.
*The bold green and white pyro label shows a nice picture of the stand out cotton boll. The label crisply reads ~ "SUNNY SOUTH / (cotton boll picture) / From The land Of Cotton / From The Land Of Cotton / BEVERAGES / Seven-Up Bottling Co. of West Columbia, S.C.". The neck label reads ~ "Sunny South". The lightly stippled base has a faint number "1" embossed. Possibly for the 1941 date. Looks to be in the smaller 7 ounce size. This very scarce example measures 8 1/8 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be very well pleased, with such a nice example as this one from the south.
