    Description

    Up for sale is a Set of 2 Antique Vintage Framed Godey's Fashions Prints dated 1859 & 1971. Pictures are small and are "nailed" into painted wood gilded frames measuring 5 3/4" x 4 3/4". Pictures are very colorful and in remarkably good condition however there is a subtle water stain in the lower left corner of the 1871 print as pointed out in the last picture.  These look to be in original frames which are stamped on the back board something along the lines of "Art Pub Co." Chicago,  IL. Unfortunately,  the stamps are hard to read. While one is ready to hang,  the 1871 print's frame is missing a nail and its string to hang it is broken.  There seems to be a few tiny "flecks of debris" under the glass but I did not want to risk removing the print from the frame to clean it out. Because of there size, these would look great paired together on a wall.  Please see pictures for details and condition.
