    Description

    First variant like  this that I have  seen in all my years of collecting Louisiana bottles.  It is a rare Pa-poose soda bottle. Embossed PA-POOSE twice on shoulder. This bottle would have originally had a paper label, probably for PAPOOSE ROOT BEER, or maybe some other soda that they made. DOES NOT say New Orleans on the bottle, itself, but Pa-poose is a well known New Orleans product that was  produced by the Zatarain  family  of New Orleans for over 100 years.  No chips or cracks. Not a dug bottle. Very clean glass with just a little washable inside dirt on bottom. Minimal case wear.  Bottom of bottle has the letter T inside of a keystone shows this bottle was made at the Knox Glass Plant in Palestine, Texas, probably in the 1930's or so.  Returns only if not as described.
