Description
It was wonderful to be in Yankton, S.C. during the 1930's. The Binder Brothers operated an ice cream and soda parlor on Third Street. They made their own "velvet" ice cream and soda. Teens would gain 10 pounds over the summer due to frequent visits. But the workers worked it off, working 10 hours a day. One of the other products was called Rednib, Binder spelled backward. The company went out of business in the early 60's.This is an original glass bottle of Kings Court Beverages. It features a bright yellow and red ACL which states, "Kings Court, The Original Lemon Juice Beverage Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.".
The bottle is 8" tall. It is in near perfect condition. The bottom edge has practically no case wear, as shown in my several pictures. There are no chips or cracks. The ACL labels are near perfect.
This bottle was made by Owens-Illinois and is 65 years old, made in 1955.
