*Up for sale here is a very rare deco era soda pop bottle from Pittsburgh, Pa. This ribbed machine made example is very clean, and has a nice motif of the Statue of Liberty embossed on the bottle. Bottle has seen some light wear, with a very small ping on the back. See pictures. Bottle has no other issues, and displays quite handsomely. Bottle may actually date from the late teens, and possibly into the very early 1920's.
*It is nicely embossed in a circular slug plate, as it reads ~ "LIBERTY BOTTLING CO. / (Lady Liberty motif) / PITTSBURGH, PA." The color is an icy greenish aqua shade. On the base it has the bold "N.Z." initials. Along the lower heel it reads ~ "Registered // Contents 7 Fl. Oz." This example measures 7 3/4 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this little piece of soda bottling history from southwestern Pa.
