This is a "Le Monde Elegant", "The World of Fashion", framed, matted, under glass Fashion Plate. It is dated February 1858 on the lower left hand side. It features a woman seated on a red velvet chair with an elegant lace, ruffle, and bow trim holding a fan. She has pearls around her neck and pink flowers in her hair. There are two women on either side. On the left is a woman in a deep blue dress with fur cuffs and a matching ribbon in her braided hair. The other woman is wearing a blue gown with layers of ruffles and gold trim with a headband and matching gold trim. The background shows a light blue drape and a four candle chandelier.The frames measures 11 1/2" x 13".
