    Up for sale here is a scarce painted label picture acl soda bottle from Austin, Minnesota. This example shows a gopher on the bottle. The condition is near mint, and the clear stippled glass is sparkling clean. There is some minor case wear only on the raised two rings on the bottle. The rest of the bottle has no wear. The two color red & orange acl label is excellent, as with the red label on the back. This is a different color combo for a painted label soda bottle.
    *It reads on the neck ~ "7 oz." Then below on the main label it reads in orange, on a red back round ~ "GO-FOR / (image of a gopher) / BRAND". On the reverse it shows a lady in a bathing suit on a diving board. It reads ~ "HITS / The Spot / Bottled By / Gopher Bottling Co. / Austin, Minnesota". This is all done in the red pyro. Then on the base it is embossed ~ "9 <0> 48 / G 467 / 1". Bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in 1948. This nice looking seven ounce acl soda pop bottle measures 8 7/8 inches tall, and 2 1/8 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this charming example from the state of Minnesota.
