Framed Antique Fashion Advertisement Godey's Fashion May 1866 Civil War Era

Welcome and thank you for shopping in my store.
This is an antique Godey's Fashion advertisement from May 1866. It was colorized and features fashions from the Civil War era for women and a child. It is matted and framed in an oak frame. On first glance, I thought it to be a print, but then noticed a crease mark down the center. When I took the back off, I saw that this was an original ad with a pattern for hand embroidering a pin cushion on the back. It is in very nice condition and is ready to hang. Frame measures 13.5" x 16.5". Visual art is 9.5" x 8".
It is larger under the matting with the words Godey's Fashions May 1866 under the picture.
It is double matted.
