    Description

Up for Purchase is the following trio of Art Deco era soda bottles that come from an Illinois-based collector. She was a Joliet resident and these bottles sat in an attic for quite some time before she passed away. I cleaned them twice already, but they probably need a third cleaning to get them as nice as possible. I'm not a bottle expert, but I spent a good amount of effort to get them to this point!
    1.
    Kist
    - This bottle is in good condition overall, with no noticeable chips or cracks. It does show obvious glass scuffing / rubbing, and particularly above the center logo.
9-1/4" Tall x 2-3/16" wide at the base
(Center) Kist logo on two sides.
    (Bottom) T.M. REG U.S. PAT. OFF. | CAP. 7OZ PAT. JAN 25, 1927
    (Base) 9 (logo) 3 | 4
    Weight: 1lb
    2.
    Orange Crush
    - This bottle is in similar condition compared against the Kist bottle, as it's in pretty good condition overall, but with some glass scuffing. There's also a dime sized chip on the very bottom. It's a small (not very deep) sliver that was shaved off and pretty easy to hide if you were going to display this bottle.
8-5/8" Tall x 2-1/8" wide at the base
(Center) OC Beverages 7 FL OZ | PAT'D JULY 20, 1920 ORANGE CRUSH CO. BOTTLE
    (Bottom) T.M. REG U.S. PAT. OFF. | CAP. 7OZ PAT. JAN 25, 1927
    (Base) BRACEVILLE ILL. 29 S
    Weight - 1lb 0.4oz
    3.
    Citizens
    - This bottle was the exciting one of the bunch because I couldn't find any instance of it on the web, and that told me it was likely on the rare side. Citizens was a Joliet-area brewing company, but I'm assuming (based on the existence of this bottle) that they made soda, too, or made it for a 3rd party. The bottle is beat up, however, with obvious scuffing around the collar. There's a chip near the rim at the top, and then two bigger quarter-sized slivers of missing glass, one on the collar, and one on the base.
9-3/16" Tall x 2-1/4" wide at the base
(Center) Citizens logo on two sides.
(Bottom) JOLIET CITIZENS BREWING COMPANY JOLIET, ILL
    (Base) CAPACITY 1/2 PINT | 9 (logo) 4 2
    Weight - 15.9oz
I think that covers it, but if you have any additional questions, just ask! Thanks for looking!
