1961 New York License Plate EMBOSSED DATE - No Tab!! Low Number 3 Digit VIP

Only a few low numbered New York license plates are DATED 1961 - all of the others carried a separate metal "61" year tab on the dated 1960 plate. This courtesy was used only for certain VIPs who received these special low numbers at the behest of New York's governor. If you collect New York plates, you need this rare variety in your collection.
This item is 100% all original. I have not even attempted to clean it. See the close-up photo, as that tells the whole story as to condition.
