1944 New York License Plate WWII Single Plate Year (no pairs) Q = Queens, NYC

The year this plate was issued, New York motorists received only a single license plate, (not a pair). They actually received one of their 1942 plates back, which had been restamped to "44" and repainted by the state.
This item is 100% all original. I have not even attempted to clean it. See the close-up photo, as that tells the whole story as to condition.
