1934 NEW YORK STATE LICENSE PLATES ORIGINAL PAIR  "X-39-43"
A matched pair of original 1934 New York State license plates  X-39-43.  Totally flat with no extra holes or damaged edges.  Some rust and lost paint but perfect for restoration.  New York State requires photos of both un-restored original plates for initial historical registration purposes, but it is then legal and OK to have the plates restored before placing the plates on your car.  And subsequent renewals of the registration do not require the submission of photos of the plates.  I bought these plates at the Hershey swap meet in the early 1980s and they are currently tied together for display purposes in my garage.
